dc.description.abstractIn an outdoor climate stall for rearing piglets in large group husbandry, the stall climate as well as the behaviour and the biological performance of the animals was examined during two fattening periods in the cold season. The results prove that the tested housing system provides good animal performance despite simple construction. Numerous (especially technical) indicators suggest that the examined housing system can be termed animal-friendly.en
